Mongolia and China are establishing cooperation contracts and agreements on the economic sector, and official meetings are being held between the Ministers during the state visit of the China’s President Mr Xi Jinping.On the previous day of the visit, the Mongolia’s Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Ms Ts.Oyungerel met with her counterpart of China Mr Wu Cai. The latter, who is visiting Mongolia for the second time, emphasized the 65th anniversary of the Mongolia-China diplomatic relations, and expressed a satisfaction with widening bilateral relations and cooperation and with visiting Mongolia again. Then he said he wants to strengthen the cultural ties.Wishing China’s delegation a comfortable stay here, the Mongolian Minister said she is glad with an expansion of the cultural and art ties between the two countries, “for example, many talented artists from China took part in the ‘Altargana’ international festival held here under auspices of the Prime Minister", and called the Chinese side to make efforts to boost a long-time friendly cooperation. She also said that she is thankful to China for rendering a support in restoring pieces of cultural heritage.The sides also exchanged views on conducting joint researches, co-fighting the trafficking of unique pieces of the cultural heritage and augmenting a quota of Mongolian students to study in China majoring in culture and arts.
