A ceremony took place Tuesday to inaugurate two books written by Mr Yu.N.Kruchkin, a Mongolist from Russia.
The first book is written in Russian and is dedicated to Mr Ts.Elbegdorj, the current President of Mongolia. It has speeches and interviews of Mr Elbegdorj. The second book, written in Mongolian and named “Vladimir Putin and Mongolia”, is all about the Mongolia-Russia relations and Mr Putin’s ties with Mongolia.
A head of the Presidential Office P.Tsagaan congratulated Mr Kruchkin on publishing the books and gave him a gift. He emphasized that Mr Kruchkin has been making great efforts to have Mongolians and Russians understand each other, and added that a creative idea of one person plays such a vital role in promoting the bilateral ties.
This May, Mr Kruchkin was awarded the Polar Star Order for a long-year and effective contribution to the development of the Mongolia-Russia friendly relations and cooperation. Mr Kruchkin has published some 60 books on Mongol studies.
