The two parliamentary parties, the Democratic Party (DP) and the People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) have upgraded their cooperation treaty.
The document was signed on Saturday by Mr N.Altankhuyag, the Prime Minister and the head of the Democratic Party, and by Mr N.Enkhbayar, the chairman of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party. "Our parties have been cooperating for two years within the present cabinet for reforms. We have managed to complete some works, now we are upgrading our treaty in order to fortify our achievements in two years to come” said Mr N.Altankhuyag.
Mr Enkhbayar agreed with the DP chairman and emphasized that the governmental works must go forward, hoping that the signing of the treaty will accelerate great works for the country’s prosperity. “We, mongolians must not waste time. We must develop and live happily in our motherland. This cooperation treaty will help Mongolians to fulfill it” Mr Enkhbayar emphasized.
In accordance with the treaty, the two parties will cooperate in fulfilling the responsibilities promised during the 2012 parliamentary election, in providing mongolians with a opportunity to discover and develop their potential, and in augment jobs. The parties also aim to abolish the bureaucracy and corruption in all levels, to form the social relations based on democracy as well as the independent court and political impact-free legal and monitoring system.
The cooperation document also reflects principles on co-participation in the next parliamentary election, on improving the state management performance, on imposing responsibilities, on making new appointments, on implementation of the biggest projects and programmes, on domestic and foreign investments and on management of the state-run mining companies.
