Mongolian athletes have successfully finished their performance with totally 12 medals in the second Asian Para Games took place in Incheon city, South Korea.
The Games that continued 6 days brought together about 4 500 athletes from 41 countries who have competed in 23 sport events. Our athletes have competed in nine sport events--judo, archery, shooting, athletics, sitting volleyball, power lifting, table tennis, swimming and lawn bowls.
By gaining 12 medals including 2 gold, 1 silver and 8 bronze Mongolian team stood at 17th place in the medal table list. China once again overwhelmed the games, the host country South Korea finished second and Japan came in third.
Four years ago, Mongolian athletes by winning 5 medals /2 silver, 3 bronze/ took the 24th place out of 45 teams participated in the first Asian Para Games held in Guangzhou, China
