KHCB opens 11th branch in Bahrain

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of Bahrain’s Islamic retail banks, has formally inaugurated the opening of a new branch located in Juffair Mall. With the launch of the new branch the bank now has a network of 11 branches in Bahrain from which to deliver its banking products and services. The inauguration of the new Khaleeji Commercial Bank branch was marked by the attendance of Khalid Hamad, Executive Director – Banking Supervision, Khalil Ismaeel Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer, senior members of the management team, staff members and representatives of the media. “KHCB’s increased presence across the Kingdom emphasizes our commitment to providing customers with greater convenience and accessibility,” Al Meer said. “With the opening of this new branch is there is no doubt to the fact that a leading Islamic bank like Khaleeji Commercial Bank which has been operating in Bahrain for more than a decade underscores the strategic perspective of Islamic financial Institutions towards the favorable business environment and the competitive atmosphere that Bahrain presents. The new branch is also our way of ensuring that our existing and future customers can access us in locations closer to them and thereby provide easy access and convenience when banking with us," The inauguration of the new branch in Juffair comes just after five months of the opening of the bank’s branch in Isa Town. Services at the branch in Juffair will include Shari'a compliant retail banking such as Savings accounts; Al Waffer; current accounts, credit cards and Financing products for personal, auto and real estate. Retail and corporate banking services will also be offered through the branch as well as an ATM
