Yuna Not Dismayed At Not Making It To Billboard 200

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 (Bernama) -- Yet to ensconce her new album titled 'Chapters' on Billboard 200, Malaysian singer and songwriter Yunalis Mat Zara'ai, better known as Yuna, does not feel dismayed about it. Instead, she is still thankful as Chapters has succesfully broken into the Billboard Adult R&B songs chart. Also included in that chart are top international singers, Beyoncé and Rihanna. "I've never expected to be on this chart and feel so happy to have finally found my pace and place in this industry. "For the album to be listed on Billboard 200, I'm not expecting much as the album had just been released in May and I think it will take some time for the listeners to embrace the album," she told reporters during a Raya (Eid) Hi-Tea organised by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, here, Tuesday. Asked if she wanted to try a different genre besides R&B and Pop, Yuna said she did not feel the need to change as she was feeling comfortable with her current genre. Chapters, which is Yuna's fifth album, also includes collaborations with several international artistes such as Usher and DJ Premier. Among her hit singles from Chapters are Crush, Places to Go and Lanes. -- BERNAMA
