Minister of State for Defence Affairs Meets Italian Defence Minister, French Chief of Defence Staff

Doha, November 26 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met here today with Italy's Defence Minister Senator Roberta Pinotti ,and her accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Qatar Guido De Sanctis, and a number of senior officers of the armed forces. HE Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah also met today with General Pierre de VILLIERS, French Chief of Defence Staff, and his accompanying delegation . The meeting was attended by HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim and Eric Chevallier, the French Ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier, as well as a number of senior officers of the armed forces. The two meetings dealt with exchange of views on matters of mutual concern, and current developments in the region. (QNA)
