M'sian PM's Wife Receives Courtesy Call From Moroccan Prime Minister's Wife

PUTRAJAYA, April 25 (Bernama) -- The Prime Miniser's wife, Rosmah Mansor received a courtesy call from Moroccan Prime Minister's wife, Nabila Benkirane in Seri Perdana here Friday. The one-hour meeting also included Nabila's son, Oussama Benkirane. Nabila was in Malaysia in conjunction with the International Seminar on Autism 2014, which was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on April 22 and 23. Prior to this, Sudan President's wife Fatima Khalid Ahmad Al Bashir, Albanian President's wife Odeta Nishani, Sri Lankan President's wife Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa and Kyrgyz Republic President's wife Dr Raisa Atambaeva were among the women dignitaries, who paid Rosmah a coutersy call in conjunction with the seminar. During a special session, "Voices of First Ladies" Nabila, among others, had voiced her views on her experience and initiatives to help children with autistism and curb the social stigma attached to it. At the seminar, Nabila said new strategies needed to be framed to provide special care for autistic children in future. She said Morocco organised numerous campaigns and used various ways to educate the community on autism as this particular group could also contribute to the socio-economic development. -- BERNAMA
