Preacher charged with inciting hatred against constitutional regime

Manama, July 24 (BNA): Mohammed Salah the Chief Prosecutor of the Northern Governorate said the Public Prosecution received a report from the Northern Governorate's Police Directorate informing that a preacher had insulted the Kingdom's constitutional regime in his Friday sermon. The Prosecution launched its investigations, reviewed the suspect's sermon, and questioned him in the presence of his attorney regarding the speech. The suspect was charged with the offense of instigating hate against the constitutional regime and was allowed to go home pending further investigations.
