Qatar's Embassy in Tajikistan Marks National Day

Dushanbe, December 19 (QNA) - Qatar's embassy in Tajikistan held a reception ceremony on the occasion of Qatar's National Day. Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojidin Aslov attended the ceremony as a guest of honor along with the president's advisor for foreign affairs, ambassadors and heads of international organizations accredited to Tajikistan, in addition to senior government officials and a number of media personnel and university presidents. HE Qatar's Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali bin Mubarak Al Mohannadi addressed the ceremony, hailing the cooperation and strong bilateral ties between Tajikistan and Qatar in several fields, which were culminated by the signing of many agreements and memorandums of understanding and exchanging visits. In the National Day, HE the ambassador added, Qatar celebrates its growth and prosperity in the political, economic, cultural and educational arenas under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. After that, Minister Aslov addressed the audience praising the Tajik-Qatari ties and noting that Qatar is the first Arab country to invest in the Tajik economy. The ceremony concluded with the Qatar embassy offering souvenirs to senior guests. (QNA)
