Qatar's Standing Committee for Drug and Alcohol Organizes Session on Narcotic Substances

Doha , September 01 (QNA) - The Permanent Committee on Drugs and Alcohol Affairs organized here today the third session on narcotic substances for the permanent committee staff at the Abu Samra border. The organizing commission has prepared a programme including a number of lectures and documentary films about definition of narcotic substances' types in addition to modern methods used for the trafficking of drugs. Major Ibrahim al-Samih, secretary-general of the Permanent Committee for Drugs and Alcohol Affairs, said the session has been held for the third year for the committee staff at Abu Samra border, as part of the 4-year committee's national strategic plan regarding axis of preventive education, adding that all bodies working in the country are concerned about the National Anti-Drug Strategy.
