MFA: MONGOLIA IS AGAINST ACTIONS OF ISIL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As a country that always attaches a great importance to peace and security in the Middle East, Mongolia has considered as necessity to stop actions of a terrorist group named the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) which are causing serious threats. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Wednesday released a statement on it, appreciating outcomes of International Conference on Peace and Security in Iraq held this September 15 in Paris, France. Mongolia calls for the international community to take resolute actions and resolve this issue comprehensively in compliance with the UN Charter and the UN Security Council Resolutions on the fight against global terrorism through rigorous discussions with no delay at this UN General Assembly. Mongolia has been consistently supporting joint efforts of the international community against global terrorism and will continue to stand for this cause, the statement says.
