HEALTH MINISTER MEETS JSOS DELEGATES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Health Ms N.Udval Thursday received a delegation of the Japanese Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons (JSOS). The Minister and the guests exchanged views on developing a collaboration between eye surgeons of the two countries, and on reducing a flow of Mongolians who have to go abroad seeking medical surgeries. The Japanese side expressed a readiness to invest Mongolia's eye surgeries and to render medical treatment and services in Mongolia. The parties agreed with a necessity to create a proper legal environment for this collaboration. Ms Udval said her Ministry is ready to support by the state policy a launch of some types of eye surgeries which are not performed yet here.
