Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centres League to kick off

Manama, July 24 (BNA): Dr.Shaikh Saqer لاin Salman Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Youth Authorities and Centres revealed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs will organise the 4th Khalid Bin Hamad League for Youth Centres in the first week of August. The hosting of this event stems from its strategy to set a new concept in managing youth centres to attract Bahraini youth and enable them to prepare them. "The event will also help encouraging holding more skills developmental activities for youth, especially in the field of sports. The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs is keen to implement the instructions of His Excellency Mohammed Al Jodar, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs to increase the number of youth centres participating in this year's event to 32 in order to expand the number of beneficiaries," Dr. ShaikhSaqer Bin Salman Al Khalifa said. He further expressed his sincere appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Founder of Khalid Bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts Organization (KHK MMA), for patronising the event, terming HH's initiative as a clear evidence of his keenness to improve the programmes and activities being served to the youth in the Kingdom of Bahrain. "The launch of the 4th edition of this important event shows how much the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs cares about sponsoring the Bahraini youth and provide to them an ideal environment to prosper so they can practice their favouritehobbies," DrShaikhSaqer Bin Salman Al Khalifa explained before hailing the centres' keenness to be part of this event. He underlined that the centres played an integral role in the past three editions, noting that the 4th edition presents a great opportunity to discover talents in football. He affirmed that the centres have been keen to kick off their preparations early for this event so they become ready to challenge.
