MEN’S SHOOTING TEAM BECOMES WORLD CHAMPION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian young shooting team became a champion on September 16 in the 25meters pistol category tournament of the World Youth Championship. The events are still running in Grenada of Spain. The Mongolian team with the sports master G.Buyanbaatar, O.Tuguldur, and Sh.Buyanzaya grabbed the gold medal with a total of 1660 points, followed by Swiss with 1651 and Chinese with 1650 points. In specific, G.Buyanbaatar ranked at seventh with 554 points, O.Tuguldur at ninth with 553 points, and Sh.Buyanzaya at tenth with 553 points. This is the first medal from such World Championships for our male team. International master Ts.Khongorzul became a female champion at the 2010 World Championship.
