Qatar's Abduelah Haroun Wins 400M Gold Medal in Bydgoszcz

Bydgoszcz, July 23 (QNA) - Qatari Sprinter Abdalelah Haroun won the gold medal of the 400 meters at the AAF World U20 Championships Bydgoszcz 2016 in Poland. Haroun finished first timing 44.81 seconds, while the US Will London came second timing 45.27 seconds and Botswana's Karabo Sibanda finished third timing 45.45 second. In the same event Qatari athlete Hamdi Al Amin won the Bronze Medal of the High Jump making a personal record of 2.23 meters. The gold medal went to Cuban Luis Enrique Zayas and the silver to US Darius Carbin. 1518 athletes representing 60 nations are participating in the event. (QNA)
