Vietnam Paragliding Open to be held in Hoa Binh

Hanoi, October 29 (VNA) – The Vietnam Paragliding Open Championship 2014 will be held in the northern province of Hoa Binh from October 30 to November 2. The event has attracted paragliders from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Athletes will compete in seven rounds. The tournament is co-organised by the Vietnam Sports Administration, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province and Hanoi Paragliding Club. Paragliding, an airborne adventure sport, debuted in Vietnam when the country hosted the Southeast Asian Games in 2003.-VNA
