The area around the summit of Hangye Pass on Mount Seorak is awash with colors of red and yellow as autumn foliage blooms in Yangyang on South Korea's east coast on Oct. 7, 2015. A definition by the Korea Meteorological Service says that the start of autumn tints is pronounced when 20 percent of the mountain's trees from its peak are tinged, which was on Sept. 23 this year. Autumn tints are expected to reach the full stage on Oct. 18, when 80 percent of the trees on the mountain are tinged with red and yellow. (Yonhap) (END)
