The president of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj cast his ballot in parliamentary elections and elections for citizens’ representatives khural of Ulaanbaatar (city council) at the 6th polling station, located at the Mongolia-Russian joint school in Sukhbaatar district. He arrived right on the Hour of the Horse (11.40 am).

As of that time, the voter turnout in the 59th parliamentary election constituency and the 25th citizens’ khural constituency reached 17 percent, with 370 voters have cast their ballots.

This year’s election is special for the fact that the elections of both parliament and the citizens’ khural are taking place simultaneously, noted the President.

“It is a citizen’s right to make different choices, but it is a citizen’s duty to vote. Let’s take active parts in the elections”, he appealed.
