Foreign visitors tour Gyeongbok Palace, the main royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), in Seoul on July 28, 2016. The number of Korean and foreign visitors to Gyeongbok, Changdeok, Changgyeong and Deoksu palaces, as well as Jongmyo, which is a shrine to worship kings of the past, came to more than 5.24 million. It marked the first time the number of visitors touring the five places topped the 5 million mark in the first half of the year. (Yonhap) (END)
