Ambassador to Russia participates in Tatarstan President’s meeting with OIC member states’ ambassadors to Moscow

Kazan, July 29 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, has participated in the meeting held by the President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, with the ambassadors of the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Moscow, within the framework of the “Strategic Vision - Russia and the Islamic World” forum, which was opened in Kazan. The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and those of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the Tatarstan President, as well as their wishes of success for the forum. President Rustam Minnikhanov took pride in the existing friendship and cooperation relations between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields and looked forward to strengthening and developing ties to broader levels to serve the interests of the two friendly countries. On the other hand, the Ambassador, in his statement, reviewed the aspects of the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation in various economic and cultural fields. He stressed the Kingdom’s welcome to become a centre for Russian products and services in the Middle East thanks to its distinguished geographical location and legal, service and logistical facilities that entitle it to be an investment and distribution hub in the region. It is noteworthy that the Kingdom of Bahrain is participating in the forum with a high-level trade delegation headed by Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, his deputy and a number of board members.
