New social projects in Atyrau
Atyrau, December 29, 2009 (Khabar) - The Kzylkoginskiy district of the Atyrau region has been supplied with natural gas and the residents of the Karakol village were the first who received the supply. A 200 kilometre gas pipeline was conducted to 15 villages of the Kzylkoginskiy district and all that people need is to enter the system.
Bergei Ryskaliyev, Atyrau regional governor:
- The supply of this district with gas was one of the direct missions of Nursultan Nazarbayev. It is quite an expensive project, since its implementation needed 31 billion tenge. Today 75% of residents of the district are supplied with gas. Next year it is planned to conduct gas to the rest of the 13 residential areas and we are currently working on it.
The district received another present to the forthcoming New Year and the residents saw the installation of aerial wires, which will allow for Internet connection and watching cable TV.
