Crown Prince Of Perlis Visits National Defence University In Ukraine

KYIV (Ukraine), Sept 18 (Bernama) -- The Crown Prince of northern Malaysian state of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is heading a working visit of the Reserve Officers Training Unit (Palapes) to Ukraine, Monday visited the National Defence University. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin (second from right), who was accompanied by the Crown Princess, Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil (right), was welcomed by the senior officers of the university and were taken on a tour of the main areas in the campus, including the firearms exhibition. The National Defence University is a renowned institution of higher learning in Ukraine. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, who has been in Ukraine from Sept 16, was also taken on a tour of the space technology exhibition and briefed by the officers. Earlier, the Crown Prince visited the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, established in 1898, and was taken on a tour of the programmes offered by the institute. On Sunday, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin led the Palapes delegation on a visit to the National Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) which houses various types of military vehicles and equipment.
