INAUGURAL CREATIVE THINKING FORUM NEXT MONTH

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 (Bernama) -- The inaugural Malaysia Innovative and
Creative Thinking Forum 2010 (Mindcreat) will be held on March 9 and 10, in
conjunction with this year being earmarked as Malaysia's Year of Innovation and
Creativity.

The event, organised by the country's first specialised mind development
centre Besut Mind Centre (Mindcet), will be held at the Prince Hotel and
Residence here.

It will be launched by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and
Pemandu chief executive officer (CEO) Idris Jala.

Among the captains of industry expected as panelists are Skali.net CEO
Tengku Farith Abdullah, Mimos president and CEO Abdul Wahab Abdullah,
Celcom CEO Mohammed Shazalli Ramli, 1901 founder Tengku Rozidar
Tengku Zainal Abidin, award-winning inventor and innovator Bugs Tan and Asia
Memory record holder Lim Teck Hoe.

Mindcet founder and organising chairman Idris Jusoh said the
forum would be the first of its kind here, and incorporate the cutting edge
innovative and creative thinking techniques to spur creative thinking and
interaction between the panelists and participants.

He said the public could also participate in the forum by posting questions
at mindcreat2010@gmail.com or www.mindcreat.blogspot.com

He said the forum's outputs would be compiled and presented to the
government, adding that its (forum's) proceeds would be channeled for Mindcet's
development.
