MSIA`S SCHOOL HEADS, PRINCIPALS TO BE REWARDED FOR ENHANCING SCHOOLS` PERFORMANCE
KUALA TERENGGANU (Malaysia), Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Beginning next year, school
heads and principals who manage to raise their respective school's performance
level, whether in the academic or co-curricular field, will be rewarded by the
Education Ministry.
Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin who is also Education Minister, said
evaluation would start this year for every achievement made as a measure of a
school head or principal's performance.
"Besides that, the teachers involved will also be rewarded, and this will
spur all to work harder to further improve their school's performance."
He said this in his speech at the presentation of awards from the Terengganu
Foundation to several students for their academic excellence and the Kuala
Terenganu parliamentary constituency Juara Rakyat (People's Champion) programme
here.
However, he did not reveal the form of reward to be given.
