Iran may play friendly with Venezuela

TEHRAN,July 9(MNA) – The Iran football team may play a friendly match with Venezuela in preparation for the 2014 World Cup. Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz has already said that the Iran football team is not a tourist in Brazil. Queiroz has also asked the Iranian Football Federation to arrange two friendly matches against Chile and Venezuela. Chile has refused to play with Iran but the Asian team will likely play Venezuela, however the date of the match has yet to be announced. Iran will also play with a powerful African team during training camp in Portugal ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
