QNB Stars League: Al Sadd, Al Ahli Coaches Raise the Bar of Challenge

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - Al Sadd will face Al Ahli on Monday in Week 19 of the 2021-2022 QNB Stars League.
Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia said: "A difficult and strong confrontation awaits us against Al Ahli, we play three days after our last match, and we are only thinking about the players recovery. We will try to get rest and prepare for the next difficult match.
"We know it is an important game for us, we can achieve something really special by getting the three points, and we're motivated to do that. The players do not need any extra motivation to give off their best to win the next game.
"On this occasion, we have the motivation to get the three points and win the championship. This is something very special for all the players, they have worked so hard throughout the season, and this is the moment to receive recognition for this work and enjoy with the title.
"For the fans, I would like to say to them: Thank you to all Al Sadd fans. Because they supported us a lot and perhaps in the next match, we can give them this shield, and I would like to enjoy this match with all of them and then also enjoy at the end of the match," said Gracia.
Meanwhile, Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic said: "Al Sadd have great technical capabilities even to win the AFC Champions League. They are a team that has only lost two points in the league this season so far. The rest of their matches are all victories, so the match will be strong and difficult.
"We presented strong and distinguished levels in the past rounds of the league, but in football the lesson is not about what you have done, but rather what you will do in the matches. We are working to prepare the team to be a strong competitor on the field against Al Sadd.
"The team's display in the recent matches was wonderful, which gives more confidence, and we must work better to continue the positive results that satisfy our ambitions.
"I have confidence in our players' abilities to present themselves well against the strongest teams in Qatar and get a satisfactory result," said Nebojsa. (QNA)
