Imam and Speaker of Grand Mosque attends conference in

Birmingham, August 01, SPA -- The Imam and Speaker of the Holy Grand
Mosque in Makkah, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais attended yesterday
a conference held by Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith in Birmingham, United
Kingdom.

The theme of the conference was "Islam is the Message of Peace and
Security".

During the conference, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais delivered a speech in
which he conveyed the greetings of Saudi leadership, scholars and
people to Muslims in Britain.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais talked about the themes of the conference,
including Islam, peace and security, dialogue, tolerance,
understanding and coexistence.

Also, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais delivered Friday sermon and led Friday
prayer yesterday in the Birmingham Mosque.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais urged Muslims to adhere to their religion and be
good members in the society in which they live. He also stressed the
commitment to moderation, tolerance, dialogue and understanding.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais highlighted the role of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia in taking care of the causes of Islam and Muslims everywhere,
urging the Muslim community to respect the regulations of the country
in which they live and reflect an honorable image of Islam and
Muslims.
