A nationwide telecast with President Nursultan Nazarbayev was held as part the Industrialization Day named ‘New Industrialization of the country: the leap of Kazakhstan’s leopard’. The launch of 25 new innovation, infrastructure, and energy and agro-industrial projects across Kazakhstan was announced during the live streaming. Particular attention was paid to the development of transport and logistics projects. New routes to Turkey and European countries have been launched at the existing car ferry complex in Kuryk port. Air Astana is implementing a project on creation of a large Central Asian aircraft repair plant. The section ‘Aktau-Shetpe’ of the ‘Aktau-Beineu’ highway construction project was put into operation. Kazakhstan Temir Zholy representatives announced about the commissioning of the multimodal transport and logistics center in Shymkent. Thus, Kazakhstan is creating a wide net of modern transport and logistics centers across and outside the country. The republic is becoming a powerful logistics hub that ensures an efficient distribution of the entire freight traffic to the East-West and the North-South directions.

- Khorgos dry port, this idea was implemented by me and former President of the People's Republic of China, Hu Jintao. 5.8 million passengers pass through the airport in Astana per year. Port Kuryk was created in our country. Imagine, we opened a ferry service, a car ferry is there as well, and the Kuryk port was completely ready this year for the opening of the route Kuryk-Baku-Georgia-Turkey through the Bosporus to Europe. Now we can say that Kazakhstan is not a landlocked country anymore. Kazakhstan got an access to all the seas, including the Persian Gulf. The highways is separate topic. We have constructed many of them over the years. This is a colossal amount of work that has never been done in Kazakhstan.
