Iran ready for mining cooperation with ECO countries: Industry Min. official

Isfahan, IRNA – An official in Iran’s Ministry of Industries, Mine and Trade (MIMT) says the country is ready to engage in mining and metals projects in member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). The head of MIMT’s local branch in Iran’s central province of Isfahan Amir Hossein Komeili said on Monday that Iran will be ready to contribute to projects aimed at the discovery, extraction, and processing of minerals in ECO countries. Komeili made the remarks in a meeting of ECO mining experts in Isfahan, a province that is home to some of the largest mines and metals companies in Iran.
