Over $903m Worth Goods Exported Via Isfahan Customs Office

Isfahan, Jan 27, IRNA – Goods worth $903.105 million have been exported via Isfahan customs house in the past ten months, said director of the Customs Office Sunday. Talking to IRNA, Assadollah Ahmadi-Vanhari added that exported goods weighed 1,516,000 tons. The figure showed an increase of 38 percent in terms of weight and a decline of 37 percent in terms of value, he said. He further noted that the industrial and chemical materials account for a large portion of the exports. Isfahan Customs House exported 705 types of commodities to 69 countries during the period, Ahmadi said, adding that Iraq ranked first by importing goods worth $356,406,000 from Isfahan. Afghanistan and Pakistan stood second and third respectively, he said. Iron, steel, oil products, hand-woven and machine-made carpets were among the main exported items, Ahmadi noted./end
