Palette's I-Medic Takes Off In Taiwan

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 (Bernama) -- Palette Multimedia Bhd, in collaboration with Singapore-based United Crest Healthcare Pte Ltd, have signed up two medical centres in Taipei, Taiwan. In a statement here Monday, Palette Multimedia, a wireless networking and mobile healthcare service provider, said this was the company's first attempt to enter the Taiwanese market via its cloud-based healthcare device, i-medic. The i-medic connected multiple medical and fitness-tracking devices through a mobile application, it said. The company has signed up with a private breast cancer centre, New England Clinic, and a private heart care centre, Joyage Precision Medicine. "The device enables the uploading of detailed video images and other vital signs to the cloud, making it easier for tracking and comparison of any development," it said. Currently, there are some 1,000 doctors from China, US, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia using i-medic for management and treatment of cancer, cardiovascular and other chronic diseases management. --BERNAMA
