Tehran, Hanoi Sign Four Co-op Documents

Tehran, Oct 15, IRNA – Iran and Vietnam signed four cooperation documents in economic and cultural fields. According to the report of the Presidential Office website on Tuesday afternoon, the documents were signed in the presence of Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Iran's Vice-President in Executive Affairs. The cooperation documents were signed here during the 3-day visit of the Vietnamese delegation to Iran. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in scientific, educational and research cooperation was signed by ministers of Science and Technology of the two countries; another MoU on avoiding double taxes was signed by governor of Iran's Tax Organization and Vietnamese Deputy Tax Minister. An MoU on Customs cooperation was signed by Iran's Customs governor and Vietnam Customs director general. Report of the joint meeting of the first working committee on trade developments and exchanging goods was signed by head of Iran's Trade Development Organization and Vietnam deputy minister of agriculture./end
