BANGKOK, March 21 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha says that his government has strictly detected and addressed the corruption problem, calling for anti-corruption cooperation from all sectors in the country. The prime minister told journalists of the stance after the Thai Cabinet's weekly meeting at Bangkok's Government House on March 20, stating that his administration has resorted to both ministerial and the Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) mechanisms to probe alleged or suspected corruption cases for the sake of quick results. "All cases have been investigated and several cases have been concluded although some of them have not been in the public interest", the prime minister noted. The Thai premier conceded that there are several remaining corruption cases under official probes, with some people involving in alleged cases having fled out of the country.
