Doha, September 29 (QNA) - Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Qatar Airways signed here today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on absorbing employees working at the Hamad International Airport in Qatar Airways, as the body responsible for the management and operations of the new airport. QCAA Chairman Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Nuaimi and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker signed the MoU. In a press statement today, the QCAA said, the MoU is a result of four-year effort by the QCAA after adding the Airport Operations Management department as per the specifications approved by the Qatar Aeronautical College. This is part of QCAA's strategy to employ competent Qatari cadres to work at Hamad International Airport once it is fully operational. The QCAA and Qatar Airways had set up joint committees to study the optimization for reposting Qatari employee.
