Fruit lovers pack orchards in Rayong

RAYONG, June 7 (TNA) - Fruit lovers are visiting orchards in the eastern resort province of Rayong as they could consume tropical fruits as much as they like and pay between 200 – 300 baht per person only. Under the Fruit Buffet” programme organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), tropical fruits including durian, mangosteen, rambutan and Longkong or southern langsat are now available at 13 orchards in Rayong for tourists to taste at an unlimited amount until next month. Pasitta Inpun, director of TAT Rayong-Chanthaburi Office said this year, it received good response. On holidays, small orchards are unable to welcome a large number of fruit lovers who have travelled from other provinces, including Bangkok, to taste fruits there. She said because of the heat this year, fruit production in the province may not be enough. Those wishing to taste the fruits at an unlimited amount are advised to contact TAT Rayong office at telephone numbers 038 655-420 before making the journey. (TNA)
