Azerbaijan, Qatar sign emergency situations management and security deals

Baku, October 22, AzerTAc Azerbaijan and Qatar have signed agreements on cooperation in management of emergency situations and security as an Azerbaijani delegation led by Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov and Internal Affairs Minister Ramil Usubov visited Doha. The visit was aimed at attending Milipol Qatar, the well-established international exhibition for internal state security. It provides the ideal place for suppliers of security products and services to meet relevant decision-makers and advisors from around the world. The delegation met Qatar`s Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani. The Azerbaijani delegation praised Qatar`s supporting Azerbaijan`s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in international organizations, including the United Nations and Organization of Islamic Cooperation. They also discussed prospects for cooperation in preventing and tackling emergency situations. Kamaladdin Heydarov and Ramil Usubov were also received by Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
