Iran, Zimbabwe review ways to widen ties

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian held talks with the visiting Zimbabwean Deputy Foreign Minister David Musabayana on ways to expand bilateral relations. The talks were held in Tehran on the sidelines of the First Meeting of the National Coordinators of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations on Saturday (November 5). The two sides stressed the importance of acceleration in holding joint economic commission meetings to develop cooperation. Iranian foreign minister called for making use of capacities in both countries in order to promote ties. First Meeting of the National Coordinators of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations was held in the Iranian capital with the participation of deputy foreign ministers, representatives, and envoys from the member countries.
