Irregular session of parliament to be held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Friday issued an order to hold an irregular session of parliament from March 29 to April 1. By the order, the irregular session will discuss bills on joining the 1997 Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management, on ratifying the updated protocol on "small quantities" of nuclear materials, on joining the 1994 convention on nuclear safety, and on ratifying the protocol on the 2005 amendment to the 1980 Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material; and the 4th conclusion of the Constitutional Court. Obligations have been given to heads of the parliamentary Standing committees and B.Boldbaatar, the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Office, to ensure preparation works for the irregular session.
