NAM Urges UN To Press Zionist Regime Over Syria Airstrikes

New York, May 8, IRNA – Members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to fulfill their international commitments and strongly condemn the Zionist regimeˈs air attacks on Syria. In a statement issued by the NAM coordination center in New York, the member states condemned the recent Zionist regime air strikes against Syria and said it was clear violation of the UN Charter. It further called on the UNSC to make the Zionist regime stand accountable for the air strikes. The statement also urged the Security Council to take necessary measures to stop recurrence of such attacks./end
