President: Govˈt Prioritizes Administering Justice, Preserving Public Rights

Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday that administering justice and preserving public rights are of utmost importance for his government. Addressing a group of lawyers and Justice Ministry officials in Tehran on Saturday, President Rouhani pointed to the comprehensive bill of attorney-ship that is in the stage of drafting and hoped that the bill will be studied and passed by Majlis, resulting in a law that would guarantee public justice and rights. He said lawyers and barristers are legal servants of the great and dear Iranian nation. “Security is an essential and important basis for progress and promotion of a society and nation, in addition to being a highly important part of security and judicial immunity of all social strata.” He added security will be felt in society if all understand that they are equal before the law.
