SH.TUVDENDORJ MEETS S.KOREAN DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the parliamentary Standing committee Sh.Tuvdendorj Thursday met a delegation of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). The delegation included Dr Lee Jae-young, the Director of Planning and Research Coordination of the KIEP; Dr Jeh Sung Hoon, a researcher of the Regional Research Center; and Dr Kh.Lhagvasuren, rector of the “Chingis Khaan” institute. Beginning the meeting, Dr Lee mentioned that the KIEP is working under three basic programmes in frames of the policy by the South Korean President Park Geun-hye. The first programme called “One continent - train” aims to widen a unified network of energy and railways, the second “Creative continent” programme--to develop cooperation in technique and technologies and jointly realize an exchange programmes of human resources; and the last “Peaceful continent” programme--to improve the economic cooperation in Asia and Eurasia, Mr Lee said. Mentioning that Mongolia adopted its newest Constitution 22 years ago, Mr Tuvdendorj emphasized the policy on legal reforms policy is intensifying from 2011 at an initiative of the Mongolian President. He added that the country has been maintaining a policy on creating basic laws for promoting the economic development and expanding the external trade with neighbour countries.
