Azerbaijan to submit Baku`s Bid Book for Olympic Games 2020 to International Olympic Committee

Today Azerbaijan is to submit official bid book to host Summer Olympic Games 2020, at the briefing in Baku, Executive Director of the Organizational Committee on holding Olympic Games in Baku Konul Nurullayeva said. To this end, Azerbaijan`s delegation headed by Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov is departing to Lausanne. ”Baku`s bid book will be submitted to IOC in Switzerland”, Nurullayeva underlined. According to her, so far only Doha has submitted the bid book, and the other applicants are expected to apply today. The term of document submission expires tomorrow “, - Nurullayeva added.
