Iran, Russia ink two oil survey agreements

Tehran, Dec 13, IRNA – Iran and Russia inked two agreements to survey Cheshmeh Khosh and Changoleh oilfields in west of the country on Tuesday. The agreements were inked between the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company and Russia's energy giant Gazprom in a ceremony attended by Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh and visiting Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak . Iran-Russia Energy Committee convened for the first time on Monday (Dec 13) as Deputy Minister of Petroleum for International Affairs and Trading Amir-Hossein Zamaninia and Russian Deputy Energy Minister Molodtsov Kirill also were attending the event. The committee was convened within the framework of the 13th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission. Novak, heading a 590-member economic delegation traveled to Iran on Monday (Dec 12). The visit would be a major step towards implementation of the decision made by the presidents of the two countries to expand bilateral ties. 1378/IRNA
