New Thai government to present policies to NLA Sept 12

BANGKOK, September 8 (TNA) - New Thai Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha will present his administration's policies to the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) on September 12. NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai told journalists of the schedule on Monday, saying the prime minister confirmed that he and his Cabinet's members are prepared for the scheduled policy presentation. According to the NLA president, Friday's NLA session was set to begin at 10am. A new Thai Cabinet is to present its policies to the NLA or the Parliament after it is sworn in before His Majesty the King and officially takes office. (TNA)
