Wreaths Laid at Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery

 Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Service personnel of the armed forces organs in the DPRK visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on Thursday to pay noble homage to the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs on the occasion of the 92nd founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kang Sun Nam, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Jong Kyong Thaek, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army (KPA), and other commanding officers and service personnel.
The members of the KPA guard of honor lined up there.
Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music, placed were wreaths carrying all the KPA servicepersons' deep reverence for the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs, who devoted their youth and lives to the sacred cause for the national independence and sovereignty and the people's happiness.
The participants paid silent tribute to the anti-Japanese martyrs who created the glorious traditions of the Korean revolution, pioneered and advanced victoriously with arms, true to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and laid an eternal cornerstone for the powerful state. -0-
