Joint Iraqi-American force arrests Qaeda commander, 11 wanted arrested in Diyala
Baquba (NINA) – In a number of security operations in various parts of the province, police in Diyala province arrested eleven wanted persons.
Security source told NINA on Friday, Feb. 4, that police launched on Thursday night series of search raids in Baquba, Muqdadiya, Buhruz, Jalawla and Bani-Sa’ad resulted in the arrest of eleven wanted persons according to judicially issued arrest warrants on charges of cooperating with Qaeda organization.
He added that in and aerial landing operation carried out in the surroundings of Jalawal district, northeast Baquba, a joint Iraqi-American force arrested a Qaeda commander.
