Senior Middle School Graduates Meet with War Veterans

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Senior middle school graduates in Jagang Province of the DPRK volunteered to serve in the foremost units of the Korean People's Army with a will to defend the country. A meeting between them and war veterans was held at the Kanggye Youth Open-Air Theatre on March 27.
Present there were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, graduates of Huichon Middle School for Orphans and senior middle schools and students in Kanggye City.
Jon Yong Jae, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made a congratulatory speech at the meeting.
He called upon young people who have grown up on this land to always remember the love and trust of the Party and glorify every moment of their military service with loyalty and feats.
War veterans handed over to the graduates the sacred national flag shining with the noble soul of the soldiers of the People's Army who won the Fatherland Liberation War.
They earnestly asked the young people to firmly defend the country and its grateful social system for which the forerunners have devoted their lives, in the spirit of defending the country and revolution of the victorious wartime generation, under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The graduates expressed their will to make proud military feats at every post of national defence with loyalty to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, holding fast to the baton of victory handed down by the victorious wartime generation.
A congratulatory performance and a memorial tree planting took place after the meeting. -0-
