Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the field of metal industry are making ceaseless innovations in the production of iron and steel needed for major construction projects.
The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex directs efforts to the supply of raw materials and fuel in keeping with the doubled Juche iron production capacity. Meanwhile, it meticulously conducts the operation and command to keep the iron and steel production going at a higher rate.
The smelters of the blast furnace shop No. 1 set the mixing ratio of charge rationally and shortened the melting time while raising the operation efficiency. They are increasing the molten iron output per charge by applying advanced working methods.
