Upgrading of Industrial Establishments in Full Swing

Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- The machine-building industrial sector of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the work to modernize factories and enterprises.
The Ministry of Machine-building Industry pays attention to building up technical and designing forces capable of guiding the modernization projects in cooperation with relevant sectors and units and solves knotty problems so that officials, designers and technicians complete technical preparations for modernization at a high level.
The Ryongsong Machine Complex is making technical preparations at the final stage through cooperation between technical officials of the ministry and designers and researchers in the fields of designing and scientific researches and the field officials and technicians.
The project for the second-stage remodeling is being conducted at the Kumsong Tractor Factory.
Projects for remodeling more than 20 objects including a tractor field test ground are progressing apace.
The Jonchon Rock Drill Factory has already completed technical preparations for modernization and launched the construction project.
The Sungni General Motor Enterprise is pushing ahead with a modernization project according to a phased plan. -0-
